Bayamo

Bayamo is a city located in the eastern part of Cuba. It is the capital of Granma Province. It is known for its rich history and culture, as well as its vibrant nightlife.

Overview

Bayamo was founded by the Spanish conquistador Diego Velazquez de Cuellar on November 5, 1513. It is the birthplace of the Cuban national anthem and the birthplace of the Cuban Revolution. It is also home to many important historical sites, such as the Bayamo Cathedral and the Cuban Flag Monument.
