The Korsakov Museum of Local Lore is an urban museum of local lore, opened in 1983. The museum's small collection tells about the nature, flora and fauna of the area, the history of the Korsakov Post and the subsequent formation of the Korsakov settlement, including the period of the Karafuto Prefecture.
