Zelenogradsk City Park

The city park was founded by King Frederick William IV of Prussia at the end of the 19th century in the eastern part of the city and received the French name "Plantage". The Green and Urban Park is one of the favorite places to relax. On the territory you can find an Imperial oak tree planted in honor of the arrival of the King of Prussia in 1843.

One of the places that is definitely worth a visit. I especially recommend it in autumn and winter – at this time the leaves from the trees fall off, exposing the trunks standing at an angle in different directions. The park is the beginning of the Curonian Spit National Park. There is a small pond in the park where it is customary to feed ducks, good walking paths, playgrounds and all the other entertainment familiar to parks.
