About the temple

Golden Buddha in Nan, Thailand

The 9-meter-high golden Buddha is executed in a classic walking pose with his left hand raised in a gesture of blessing. The statue was erected in honor of the 6th anniversary of the birthday of His Majesty the King on December 5, 1999.
