Okeanrybflot JSC History Museum is the first interactive industrial museum in Kamchatka, created by one of the largest fishing enterprises in Russia. Visitors to the museum can get acquainted with the history of oceanic fishing in Kamchatka, the peculiarities of fishing, everyday life and objects of fishermen's labor. Special attention is paid to the achievements of the domestic fishing industry and the contribution of Okeanrybflot.
The exposition of the Okeanrybflot JSC History Museum

Facade of the Okeanrybflot JSC History Museum
I would like to pay special attention to the external architecture of the building, made according to the author's project Sergey Gikalo and Alexander Kuptsov. The exterior walls of the building are covered with black granite, on top of which a false facade of white aluminum with cut-out holes in the shape of fish and squid stands at a short distance. At night, the pattern shimmers smoothly thanks to the excellent internal illumination.
Public space of the Okeanrybflot JSC History Museum
The architects not only created a magnificent image of the building, but integrated it into an open public space with stones protruding in the form of benches. The area stands out especially spectacularly against the backdrop of picturesque hills.
The ticket price includes a guide. Groups with a guide depart daily to 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 15:00, 17:00 and 18:00. Independent study of the museum exposition is provided at 11:00, 16:00 and 19:00.
Individual visit - 1000 rubles

The museum and the public space around it are the quintessence of the half–century history of one of the largest companies in Russia and their modern view of the future development of not only the fishing industry, but Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
