A fabulous, absolutely Tolkienesque place. Mossy stones, tiny cells, narrow secret corridors, silence around and some very special energy of the place. The ancient graffiti on the walls is also fascinating. The monastery, founded in 1560, is absolutely ascetic and very miniature. Small buildings are inscribed among rocks, forests and granite boulders. All the decor is shells, ceramics and cork oak bark. The overall feeling of the place is absolutely mystical.
