Becici
Becici is a neighboring resort village in the south-east of the municipality of Budva. Before the territorial reorganization in Montenegro, Becici were part of the old municipality of Budva, therefore they have a common historical past.

The advantages of a holiday in Becici
The undeniable advantages of Becici are walking distance from the bustling resort of the Montenegrin coast of Budva. There are a sufficient number of restaurants and cafes, travel agencies and car rental companies in Becici. In addition, the Becici own a long coastline of 3 km, where there are many comfortable private beaches with high service. The country's best and most prestigious 4 and 5 star hotels are also located here. Becici has well-organized transport links to the entire Montenegrin coast. And, undoubtedly, there are very beautiful natural views here.
The disadvantages of a holiday in Becici
Of the obvious disadvantages, we can note the large concentration of tourists in Budva and Becici in high season. Since Becici is located on an elevation, the descent to the beach and the ascent back can be uncomfortable, but for trekking enthusiasts it will not be a problem. If you are traveling with young children, keep in mind that you will need to go down to the sea.

Amazingly clear water on the beach in Becici
There are many natural beauties and tourist attractions in Becici, so you will not get bored here. Traditional beach holidays and sightseeing trips are popular in Becici, as well as active activities.
St. Thomas Church (Crkva Sveti Toma). This small church is hidden among the firs and cypresses covering a low coastal hill. Its dome with a belfry, which is very typical for most Orthodox churches in Montenegro and the Balkans in general, is not immediately distinguishable among the dense crowns of trees. St. Thomas Church belongs to the Serbian Orthodox Church, as evidenced by the large tricolor with a golden cross at the entrance. When visiting this church or this church, we strongly recommend sitting in a small square in front of the entrance. It is quiet, beautiful and very cozy here, with a wonderful view of the sea and the coastline.
Becici beach. This relatively small beach is located in a small cozy bay near Budva. Another feature of the beach is that the water is extremely clear and almost crystal clear. Even at a depth of several meters, the seabed is clearly visible. The beach is fenced and you can safely leave your belongings, there is also a cafe where you can have a snack like burgers and ice cream. If you are in Budva and want a beach nearby, but not in Mogren, then it is better to go to Becici.
The Becici embankment separates the beach line and the hotels and stretches along the entire coastline all the way to Rafailovici. Along the entire embankment there are cafes and restaurants, souvenir shops, stalls with ice cream and drinks. There are a lot of greenery, blooming magnolias, palm trees and many colorful pelargoniums. An evening walk along the Becici embankment will also be pleasant – the sea view is very beautiful.
Torin is a nightclub located in Becici. Here you will be immersed in folk-pop music. Becici is not a very noisy city, and if you need a stormy night of fun, you can easily find it in neighboring Budva.
Paragliding. Paragliding is an extreme sport. If you're looking for a thrill, why not try paragliding? Paragliding is one of the best activities not only in Becici, Budva, but also in Montenegro as a whole. Since the country is mountainous, this hobby is very popular here. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains of Montenegro and the sea, as well as sandy beaches from a bird's-eye view.
